Frequently Asked Questions
Is it going to hurt?
After hearing many outrageous stories from patients about their bad experience in dental offices, Dr. Z pledges and commits to make your visit as pain free and comfortable as possible.
Lots of people are fearful of “shots.” Over the years, Dr. Z has developed techniques to make dental injections much easier than in the past. Often we hear patients say, “Was that the shot? He has angel hands, I did not feel it.”
How much will this cost?
We are very sensitive to the cost of dental care. There are always different treatment options available to you—some more expensive and some less. After your examination, Dr. Z will discuss treatment that meet your needs and fit your budget. He works with his patients. Also, payment plans are available through Care Credit along with discounts for cash and credit cards. Most major credit cards accepted.
Will I get a detailed estimate of my treatment?
Yes. After your dental examination, Dr. Z sits down with you to share his findings and discuss treatment with you. We provide written estimates before we start your care.
Do you have payment plans or discounts?
Yes. We use Care Credit for flexible payment plans. You can apply on-line or in the office. We also offer discounts of 10% off for cash, checks, and 5% discount for credit cards.
Do you take my dental insurance?
Everyone is welcome, although we are an "out-of-network provider” "PPO" for all plans. Bring your insurance information to your first appointment so we can help you maximize your benefits.
How long until I can get an appointment?
We promise not to make you wait days, weeks, or months for an appointment.
Do you see emergency patients?
Yes. Call in the morning for your best chance of a same-day appointment. Call (386) 574-5201.
Can you just put me to sleep?
We have oral medicines (pills) that will relax you, but don’t carry the risk of deep sedation or general anesthesia. As his patients usually remark; "Dr. Z's personality relaxes me."
Do you treat children?
Our youngest patients average age is 14 years. We are flexible with this policy.
Does Dr. Z provide all kinds of dentistry?
We offer most types of general dentistry to our patients, including root canal therapy and extractions. If you need certain specialty care, we have good long-term relations with local board-certified specialists. See our "services" page for a detailed list.

Yes. We have bilingual staff ready to assist you.
Can you get my x-rays from my previous dentist?
Certainly. Upon your request our staff will assist with getting any x-rays useful to Dr. Z's diagnosis.
Do you spend much time with your patients or is the office rushed?
